Privacy Policy

How Crewer handles account information, business records, and service data.

Last updated September 27, 2026

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how CUSP Ventures LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Florida, handles information in connection with the Crewer website and iPhone app. Crewer is developed under our Cusp Dev brand.

This policy applies to website visitors, account holders, and information entered into Crewer about workers, clients, and projects. If a business enters your information, that business also controls how it uses its records. You may need to contact that business to address a request about those records.

2. Information you provide

  • Account information: your email address, authentication information, account identifier, and account creation details. Firebase Authentication handles sign-in credentials.
  • Company and client information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing or project addresses you enter.
  • Work and billing records: worker names, pay and billing rates, projects, activity dates, hours, descriptions, fixed charges, invoice details, and related records.
  • Support communications: information you send when you contact us, including your email address and the contents of your message.

Provide only information needed for your use of Crewer, and only information you have authority to share. Crewer does not require payment-card numbers or government identification numbers for these functions.

3. Technical information and analytics

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, device or browser information, and service logs to deliver and protect the Services.

Google Analytics is enabled in our Firebase project. Basic reports available in the Firebase console may be used to understand usage and service operation. We have not implemented custom analytics events or a crash-reporting service.

When an app version includes an active Google Analytics for Firebase SDK, that SDK can automatically collect basic usage events and device information, such as app launches, sessions, app version, operating system, an app-instance identifier, and approximate geographic information. Enabling Analytics in the Firebase console alone does not establish that every app version collects these events.

We do not use Crewer analytics for advertising. Our website pages do not include an analytics script or advertising tracker. Infrastructure processing is separate from app analytics. Learn more in Firebase’s privacy information and Google’s Privacy Policy.

4. How information is used

  • Create accounts, authenticate users, and provide access to their business records.
  • Store and retrieve clients, workers, projects, activity, and invoice information.
  • Support calculations, weekly summaries, and PDF invoice generation and sharing.
  • Respond to questions, resolve problems, and communicate about the Services.
  • Maintain security, prevent misuse, understand basic service usage where data is available, and meet legal obligations.

Crewer does not currently display advertising or offer subscriptions.

5. When information is shared

Service providers. We use Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to provide authentication and cloud storage. Hosting, infrastructure, and communications providers process information needed to deliver their services. Google processes any enabled Analytics data under its applicable terms and policies.

Sharing you initiate. If you export or share an invoice, the information in that file is disclosed to the recipients and services you select. Check the document and destination before sharing.

Legal and security needs. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or as reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the security of the Services.

Business changes. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable protections and notice requirements.

6. Storage and retention

Business records are stored using cloud infrastructure rather than only on your iPhone. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our service providers.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate operational, security, dispute-resolution, and legal needs. The period depends on the type of information and the reason it is retained. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove copies from backups or records that must be retained by law. Uninstalling the app does not by itself delete cloud records.

7. Your choices and requests

You can update information through available app features. To request access, correction, an export, account closure, or deletion, email support@cuspventures.net. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the records before acting. Do not send a password with your request.

If your information was entered by a contractor or another business, contact that business first or tell us which business holds the records so we can help route your request. Requests may be limited by legal obligations, the rights of other people, and records a business is entitled or required to retain.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. We will handle applicable requests as required by law. Contact us with questions about analytics information or the controls available for your app version.

8. Security

We rely on account authentication and service-provider protections to help safeguard information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password, protect your device, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Children

Crewer is intended for adult business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when our features or data practices change. The revised policy and its date will be posted here. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
